Defense equipment is all about modern, powerful and precise systems. To express that spirit, when it comes to constructing exhibition booths at the Vietnam Defence Expo, advanced technologies should be used. These are the top three technologies recommended by SDragon – exhibition stand builders vietnam.
Vietnam Defence Expo is held from 19 – 22/12/2024 at Gia Lam Airport, Hanoi. In the span of three days, 200 exhibitors in the defense industry from 40 countries will attend the exhibition.
“Guns, armor, fighter jets,… who would not be impressed with that? Constructing the booth should be easy”. You are very wrong if you are thinking that way. The stimulating nature of defense equipment leads to unlimited creative opportunities, but also creates challenges:
The number of equipment that visitors can use at the Vietnam Defence Expo is limited. For example, in previous years, experts have instructed visitors to fly the new model of UAV. However, for more complicated vehicles like tanks, planes,… visitors can only observe.
“Can you explain how this weapon works?” – this is probably the most common question at a booth.
Finding a proper explanation for this question is not easy. The defense equipment technology is often too complicated to be described in only a few words. But if you give a detailed explanation, it would appear to be boring to visitors.
As we analyzed above, the main challenge when constructing exhibition booths at Vietnam Defence Expo is to find out how to deliver equipment’s information to visitors in an entertaining and accurate way.
There are solutions for every challenge though. These three technologies would showcase the strength of the displayed defense equipment:
The best way to test the power of a weapon is to test them in the field. Unfortunately, due to obvious reasons, you can not allow visitors to test out these weapons, no matter how hard they plead. Like, do you really want people to … launch a missile, or throw a grenade in the exhibition zone? Not the best idea.
It is not like visitors would never be able to experience these equipment though. With virtual reality (VR), you can reconstruct the battlefield and weapon models on a computer. Then, visitors can “use” these models, through the VR headset.
If you have attended military training, this technology is probably familiar. An empty gun would be connected to the computer through a system of sensors and cameras attached to it.
Basically, the image of the target ( through the shooter’s point of view) would be displayed on a computer screen. When the shooter pulls the trigger, the sensors would send a signal to the computer to save the image of the hit spot. Then, the computer software would calculate the final score.
The shooting simulation machine allows visitors to test the accuracy of the gun. Therefore, this is a very useful exhibition equipment for defense products.
Well, guns are cool, but now your visitors want to try out bigger, cooler defense equipment! They want to feel the adrenaline rush when heading the tank forwards at maximum speed, or fly a jet!
How to satisfy these excitement – seeking visitors? Driving simulation system is the answer. A driving cabinet with steering wheel, pedals,… connected to computer screens would recreate the driver’s (pilot’s) point of view with high accuracy.
These are the technologies you should consider when displaying defense equipment. If you need to build an exhibition booth at the Vietnam Defence Expo, contact SDragon. As the official contractor at the event, we promise to deliver to you the finest, most impressive construction.
